There is a somewhat tentative peace between humans and vampires at the moment, but it could fall apart at any second. Claire is continuing her work with the moderately sane Myrnin and his crazy supercomputer, Ada. (Its a reallyThis book had me hooked the entire time I was reading it. My favourite character Claire showed just how strong and fierce she really was while sticking by her friends. Rachel Caine has taken us back into the world of the Morganville vamps and showed us that it takes just as much to survive in Morganville as it does to survive in a small town out of it. It even managed to squeeze in some life lessons in there too. Overall an amazing book and if you haven't read the ones before you really should.
Love this series! Seriously, LOVE! No matter what, the characters always pull through. Claire really grows as the books go on. I admire that about Rachel Caine's writing, she actually has her characters develop over time. It's been a year since Claire moved to Morganville and its obvious because after the year's harshness, she has tactics with certain people and knows her way around the town and the people-more or less-now. Shane is still tough, but he has learned to loosen up; Eve is still goth

The books are addictive and fast reads making it easy to read one novel in a sitting. For those who enjoy vampire drama, this is at the top of the list. Ah, Morganville. Probably one of the best young adult vampire series out there.Dont get me wrong, it isnt perfect. There are many things I disliked about this series, yet when I compare it to other books in this category it ranks rather high. Throughout the series, we have a continuous story and individual book stories to keep you engaged, without things growing repetitive. If youre into young adult vampire stories then I suggest you give this series a go.
