review for entire series v1-10For a josei title, HM is pretty tame IMO, not in a bad way but if you like the more adult themes, "naughtiness" or darker aspects of other josei titles, HM will probably come off as more of a shoujo work to you.One thing that I enjoy about it is that the male main character (Hokuto) isn't shortsighted in various emotions nor is he a total cardboard cutout figure. In the beginning of the story he completely comes off that way and I really started to wonder if he was



I just love & enjoyed reading comic.... this is one of my fav comics.

Once again, I enjoyed reading more of the adventures (or misadventures) of Chiwa and Hakuto. Their almost completely dysfunctional communication style is more than balanced out by their cuteness. (#adorbs alert!) Of course if you're seeing this review and you haven't read any of the series, you'll want to start it from the beginning to understand it all - but it's well worth it. I have not been disappointed in a single book in the series. Such fun reading!

When I reserved V6 & V7 of *Hapi Mari* from the SPL, V7 came in first. I was so sure that I'd have to read V6 as scanslations to get V7 turned back in on time. But, then, V6 came in for me yesterday. I was so excited to get to continue this series. I really enjoy continuing to read Hokuto and Chiwa's story as they come to learn more about one another and fall deeper into love, but still have their little spats.

I was on board with this manga for a while, and I'll continue to read it. But this book was so sexist and degrading it hurt.The main male character calls his wife stupid repeatedly. It's supposed to be funny, but it's just painful to read. And then she just accepts that she's a stupid girl and apologizes. I cringed. Stand up for yourself woman!
