I really really enjoyed this! I love Lovecraft, and McLaughlin did an amazing job with the various short stories. I laughed, I made 'ick' faces, I shared passages with those around me. I highly recommend this book!!

I was drawn to this book by its title and spiffy cover art. I ended up enjoying it even more than I expected. If you like horror, science-fiction, and pop culture references, chances are you will enjoy this book, too.

This book grabbed ahold of my attention and pulled me into each story. I was wanting more by the end of the first story.

One must be knowledgeable about the writings of American horror author H. P. Lovecraft in order to understand the allusions and references employed by comic writer Mark McLaughlin. However, there are many aficionados of Lovecraft's work: fans who like suspense and terror, literary scholars who appreciate an author's use of the language (images, figures of speech like metaphors, schools of literary criticism like Freudianism, Jungian archetypes, feminism, etc), and those loyal followers who see

Kept trying to read this, but basically the author thinks that he is cleverer than he really is. Gave up, as I wrote better Lovecraftian garbage as a teen than this.
