4.5 stars. This was really excellent and not at all what I expected. I'd never read one of Chelsea Handler's books, and I expected this to be a lot funnier than it was. And it certainly has funny moments, but this is not a comedy book. It's a really tender, heartfelt memoir about pain and grief and really examining oneself.
