This book here was a mind blow . The things Curtis Black was doing is crazy and wild. Once I got into this book I could not put it down. This book is a page Turner . I'm enjoying this series on to book #3That ending! Another great hit.
Charismatic Curtis Black is the worst sort of scoundrel, but that doesnt keep the women in his life from loving and trusting him. In this second installment, it appears that at first, Curtis is managing to juggle all his women, but a leopard cant change its spots and Curtis cant control his urges. The author does a great job in portraying and developing the characters, making Curtis as despicable as possible. Yet, the end may surprise readers. Okay, so I read this out of sequence. However, I started with book 3, The Best-Kept Secret, and am working backwards. Thank goodness I started there, but although I haven't read book one, Casting the First Stone, I feel like I am caught up. I'll still read it, but I don't see much of a need, other than to have it added to my "Read" list. Curtis is the worst of the worst. He is a greedy many using the power of the pulpit to mask his greed. I didn't understand why Adrienne would fall for him
