Her reward is a life in ruins, on the run in the wilderness, barely surviving a bitter winter and the even more bitter knowledge she has lost everything: her career, her reputation, her identity. Commentary About Books Obsession Falls (Virtue Falls #2)
5 stars for the first half of the story and one or 2 for the last half. I love woman in peril and survival stories. I loved the survival element and how the heroine, Summer, was so tough and wily at surviving. Other than her first dopey plan to save the boy she was smart. But the plan was reasonable considering what she had to work with. Everything was great right up until she got to Virtue Falls. The Virtue Falls part went really wonky. The other characters were okay. I liked Kateri and the

1-1/2 stars. This book was disturbing. Creepy, squicky, implausible, and off-putting. And Kennedy is an asshat.

AJ's Review:Obsession Falls by Christina Dodd simply blew my mind. Ms. Dodd has penned a heart-pounding, dark, gritty, intense, action-packed story that will leave you breathless, intrigued, and a little fearful of the dark. While the scenery is at times majestic, it's also dangerous and full of murderers. In an effort to be a good Samaritan, Taylor Summers, finds herself in a dangerous, sophisticated game of cat and mouse. The only question that remains is whose the cat and whose the mouse

This was a pretty good read. I enjoy stories that take place in the wilderness and involve coping with the elements against the odds. Of course, there were elements in this story that stretched believability a bit. But, remember, this is pure fiction.Taylor Summers (aka Summer Leigh) witnesses a potential murder in the making. She causes a diversion that will change her life completely. Now she's on the run and trying to survive under the worst of circumstances. Her cleverness keeps her one step

I didn't like this book. I could not be involved in the plot (which is why I read it for so long). I not liked the characters or didn't believe in their love. Between them there was no chemistry. I don't know on what basis they confessed their love. They barely knew each other.A huge minus for the epilogue. Far more I liked the alternative version. The first book in the series was much better. At least well-known heroes appeared; good to know what's going on with them.

Obsession Falls is the second full book in the Virtue Falls series. There are two novellas nestled in there, but I haven't read those. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed this book. I liked it even more than the first book. Taylor witnesses an attempted murder and ends up on the run from the bad guys as well as the police. When she witnesses a murder months later, her life is in even more danger. What made the book so enjoyable was the whole adventure part of the book. I thought the author

For those who have read my prior reviews or follow me, you may be surprised that Im rating this book a two star. Alas, you cant knock em out of the park every time. Turns out this story was feeling a bit familiar to me at the start. Going further in, I realized I had read this book before -before Goodreads, before keeping track of books read/want to read, and before my retirement where I am now catching up on my reading like nobodys business! So...I continued to read on. I liked the heroine
