Chronicle To Books Viper's Run (The Last Riders #2)

Winter Simmons received the surprise of her life when she discovered the man she had been dating for the last two years was actually Viper, president of the Last Riders. A high school principal, Winter has no intention of ruining her reputation in the community to be with a man who betrayed her trust. Unforgiving, she turns her back on him, only to find that Viper is not the gentleman he portrayed.

Determined to find his brother’s killer, Loker James kept his identity as President of The Last Riders a secret from Winter. When the truth comes out, he is determined to make her see the real man who can control not only a group of dangerous bikers, but a woman whose life is a rulebook. Unable to prevent herself from being drawn into the very club she despises, Winter is about to lose everything important to her, unless Viper can prove she’s more than a moonlight run.

This work of fiction is intended for mature audiences only. All sexually active characters portrayed in this ebook are eighteen years of age or older. Please do not buy if strong sexual situations, multiple partners, and explicit language offends you.

Write-Up Based On Books Viper's Run (The Last Riders #2)
Okay, I admit I gave the first book in this series one star. The only reason I gave this one a shot was because I was looking for an audio book and the synopsis made Winter sound like she had more backbone than Beth did in "Razer's Ride". Not the case! This one was even worse, if possible. Winter is badly beaten and has to have rehab to get better. She wants to go home and have someone stay there and help her but Viper decides otherwise. He tells her friend Beth to bring her to the clubhouse

Vipers Run is the second book to The Last Riders Series; the first being Razers Ride. This book keeps in step with plenty of the debauchery and promiscuous sex as the first book. Viper is the club president of The Last Riders. For 2 years he has been playing the part of respectable businessman, Loker James, to determine who killed his brother Gavin. During this time, he forged a relationship with Winter Simmons, the prim and proper high school principal, to integrate himself into the community.

After finishing 'Razer's Ride', I was equal parts intrigued and disgusted by Ms. Begley's 'The Last Riders' series. This is definitely not a MC romance series for everyone. The members of The Last Riders, both male and female, are completely sexually uninhibited. Exhibitionism, voyeurism, ménage, and virtually anything you can think of sexually, are commonplace in their clubhouse. The club hosts a Friday night party, which is essentially a big orgy, not that they seem to restrain themselves any

Tsk. Give me Thor's hammer and I'll pound the heroine's silliness out of her.FULL REVIEW TO COME.

If you're looking for a real biker romance, this is not it. It's just plain silly. I had to skim through the last 30% to finish.

I'm really sorry, I tried to like this book, it is just hard, when it repeatedly includes scenes that are supposed to be hot, but only leave me with the awkward feeling that the heroine has been violated and disrespected (mostly by the hero, but also by all the others who don't take her pleas for help seriously). I am a little shocked how many women think that this book is hot... There are really good books out there if sharing and multiple partners are your thing, but there's a difference
