Crit Appertaining To Books My Father's Son

This is a very well written novel about a young boy whose father is a Navy SEAL. The author, Andy Symonds, is the son of a Navy veteran. He wrote this book with the input of a retired Navy SEAL. You can be assured with this type of inside knowledge from both the author and the retired Navy SEAL that the book will be true to the lives of a military family. This book has been endorsed by the Special Operations community.Nate is only 13 years old when his beloved father, a Navy SEAL, is killed in

I enjoyed this book so much, that I wrote a review for Best Defense at Foreign Policy for it. Here's the link:http://foreignpolicy.com/2015/12/03/a...

An incredible story!!What a ride! This book was fantastic. The personalities were well developed and authentic. The action was exciting. The main character was very real. This book is highly recommended even if you're not a fan of the armed services.

Symonds nailed this book. From start to finish this book moves you. Having a son going on his 15th year in the military, and knowing the feel of waiting for the black vehicle to pull up in front of the house. He knows how to write a conversation very well, which is usually the hardest part for an author.**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

Very well done. The son's struggles ring true. Characters are every sympathetic
