This book was great. The only problem I had with it was that in the end Hannah did not kill Colin. I realize that she wouldve racked up a criminal record and gotten a guilty conscience, but really, how would she know the police were going to be there?! Honestly if the scene had been written more realistically I wouldve liked it a lot more.

This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the mystery genre. Kieran Scott compiles elements that I would have never guessed would go into one book. There is no slow-going in this book, I guess the first fewchapters, but other than that this book is straight action all the way through. I loved this book

I bought this at my school's book fair. I have a huge stack of TBR books, but what the hell, what's two more? Actually, this book was captivating and I read the whole thing in about 48 hours. While the story was predictable in the sense that it was teens on a lake unsupervised and all hell breaks lose...there were several plot twists that I was not expecting and I couldn't wait to find out more!The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I would have liked the villain to be a bit more

I love when a student who reads irregularly comes to me and says, "Here, you need to read this. I loved it!" When this happens, I drop everything and read the book. This was a tension-filled, mysterious, and quick read. I can see why my student loved it so. Now I need to work hard at finding other titles for her so that we don't lose momentum.

I read this kind of to screen it, in a way, to see if it was okay for my daughter to read. She's 14, and it's fine. I think she'll like the spook factor and I think she'll enjoy figuring stuff out just a step or so before the main character links things together and be able to experience that satisfying, "See!"
