Ilustration Toward Books Unblemished (Unblemished #1)

Eliyana has always recoiled from her own reflection in the mirror. But what if that were only one Reflection—one world? What if another world existed where her blemish could become her strength?

Eliyana is used to the shadows. With a hideous birthmark covering half her face, she just hopes to graduate high school unscathed. That is, until Joshua hops a fence and changes her perspective. No one, aside from her mother, has ever treated her as normal. Maybe even beautiful. Because of Joshua, Eliyana finally begins to believe she could be loved.

But one night her mother doesn’t come home, and that’s when everything gets weird.

Now Joshua is her new, and rather reluctant, legal Guardian. Add a hooded stalker and a Central Park battle to the mix and you’ve gone from weird to otherworldly.

Eliyana soon finds herself in a world much larger and more complicated than she’s ever known. A world enslaved by a powerful and vile man. And Eliyana holds the answer to defeating him. How can an ordinary girl, a blemished girl, become a savior when she can’t even save herself?

Rate Of Books Unblemished (Unblemished #1)
This. Book. Was. Amazing.I could hardly get myself out of Unblemished, to be honest. The book was easy to get into, especially since the book is in Eliyana Embers POV. Speaking of Eliyana, what a character!!! Overview:-Violence: people dying, kidnapping, vivid fighting scenes, nearly drowning-Blood/Gore: near-death experiences, vivid details of blood after getting an injury, someone being killed, and what they look like, broken bones-Romance: several kisses, feelings, touching, but its all

Frankly, my dear, this book disappointed me.I'm not sure, man.Okay first off, let's get it out of the way that this cover is drop dead gorgeous. I will love this cover forever and just wish that I loved the book inside it quite as much but ... I had a range of problems with it. The writing style is incredibly annoying. Or, more accurately the style of literally. Writing. All. The. Sound. Effects. Like ... *deep sigh* This is a book, alright? I do not need random italicized sound effects

I was worried this book wouldn't live up to the very hype-y hype I've been seeing all over the internet, but it was actually super fun and cute and engrossing!WHAT I LIKED:-The writing style, which was pretty enough to appease my writer side and invisible enough to keep my reader side turning pages-The Once Upon a Time feel to it--I love, love, love fairytales. Bonus points for fairytales being integrated into the real world.-A surprisingly twisty plot. I mean, that ending. Wow.-After much

To see my review over Unblemished look no further :) https://youtu.be/ilaQNNXFAiwTo add to my video review, I will say that the reason I am team Ky is the fact that I didn't fully buy into Joshua being a love interest. They felt more like friends than anything. I didn't ever see or feel a romantic connection with them. Maybe that will change through the series, but for now, that's where I stand. :)I also suggests all readers to go and watch at least two video's of Sara Ella's on her book tube

Holy cow, that was intense. I wasn't expecting Unblemished to be that good. I saw all the rave reviews on Goodreads, and felt skeptical. "Well, might as well give it a try, I suppose." I'm glad I did.I'm normally not a fan of allegories--I suppose that only contributed to my skepticism. However, it was really well done here. Very subtle, and not in your face at all. I'm interested to see where the author takes it in following books. The entire story kept me riveted, and I couldn't wait to see

Oh, Unblemished. It seems so long since I've last been completely torn on how to rate a book.Unblemished tells the story of Eliyana -- a high school senior with a ghastly birthmark that marks her face. She's never considered herself beautiful, and after her mother's death and recurring strange interactions with people she thought she new, her world comes crashing down... and she must be taken to another....Don't get me wrong: Unblemished was really good. Sara Ella seems a true wordsmith, and

I need this book in my life. Like, now.EDIT: HAAAAA IT HAS A COVER AND IT'S GLORIOUS. OCTOBER CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH.
