Narrative Toward Books A Want So Wicked (A Need So Beautiful #2)
Elise is a normal seventeen-year-old girl until the day she wakes up in a desert park, with no idea who she is.After that episode, her life takes a bizarre turn. She’s experiencing unexpected flashes of insight into people’s lives—people she’s never met before. Strangers frighten her with warnings about the approaching Shadows. And although Elise has never had a boyfriend, she suddenly finds herself torn between two handsome but very different young men: Abe, the charming bad boy whose effect on her both seduces and frightens her, and the mysterious Harlin, who’s new to town but with whom Elise feels an urgent, elemental connection—almost as if they are soul mates.
Now Elise begins to question everything about her life. Why do these guys both want her so desperately? What are the Shadows? Why does the name Charlotte inspire a terrifying familiarity? And who is Elise, really?

"A Want So Wicked", the sequel to "A Need so Beautiful", is a not-so-classic coming of age story centering around Elise, a young woman who is more than she seems. Struggling with the realization that she has lived before as the divinely blessed (or cursed) Charlotte, Elise must find away to full-fill her destiny without being overtaken by the shadows who desire her above all else. This book really surprised me. I went into it a little hesitantly. I read the first in this series and I liked it,
This wasn't nearly as good as the first book, unfortunately. It didn't feel like it had a truthful storyline, it felt like it was just trying to find a way to give Harlin & Charlotte/Elise a happy ending. Normally, I would have been good with that. I love Harlin and Charlotte together - they're adorable! But adding that with the Abe complication, instalove, implausible "past lives" flashbacks and everything else that happened didn't work for me - at all. I never felt that connection between

If I was emotionally touched in "A Need So Beautiful," this second installment ripped my heart out. Could you imagine leaving your loved ones over and over for greater cause just to save humanity? How could you withstand it? Well, this book showed the power of true love and sacrifice. There was a moral lesson in this book, which we could apply in our daily lives (i.e. You could exercise your free will but be wise doing so. The choices you make now are the foundation of your life in the future).
I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of A Want So Wicked. I instantly fell in love with Harlin in the first book and I thought I couldn't love him any more than I already did. I was wrong. He was just so heart broken from the first book and yet stayed so loyal to Charlotte trying to not forget her as everyone else had around him. The main female character, Elise is so strong and selfless that you can't help but adore her. Her relationship with her sister and father is one that had me
I read A NEED SO BEAUTIFUL a few months ago. And it was amazing. Filled with such themes of loss and forgetting. I couldn't wait to get my hands on A WANT SO WICKED. And now I have. And it was fricken sweet.A WANT SO WICKED has a little more fight in it than its predecessor. There's a little bit more of the sinister in here, and the scope is wider. I was scared I was going to miss Charlotte too much, but Young creates a fantastic heroine in Elise Landon. And, Harlin's back, so no complaining.I
A Want So Wicked was one of my most anticipated reads of 2012. I fell so completely in love with the story and characters in A Need So Beautiful that I was antsy to find out what would happen next, especially with the killer ending in the first book! Words cannot express the joy I had when I won an ARC copy! I jumped right in and fell in love all over again! This is the story of a girl named Elise. Strange things start to happen to her, while awake and in her dreams. She sees flashes of another's
