A book about coffee, relationships and desire.The denouement towards the end is a little unbelievable and clumsy, but apart from that it's a very pleasant read :-)
A relatively unknown and unexpectedly good read which i bought on impulse at a small bookstore. Put me in mind of the movie "After Hours" as it's got that sort of "all-the-events-are-related-in-strange-ways" vibe. I consider it one of my luckier finds.
Started strong and became dull. Characters became one-dimensional and boring -- I quit before I finished.This was a book from years ago that really expanded my love of reading. It was such a fun jaunt and had a little bit of everything..mystery, romance, philosophy, adventure. I like to revisit the story every few years.
Not your average mystery. Enjoyed reading it twice.
