Debiut prozatorski Mariusza Wilka, mieszkającego od kilku lat na Sołowkach. Tematem jest współczesna Rosja, której wizerunek autor kreśli w sposób rzetelny i barwny zarazem. Spröde Prosa bester Qualität. Das Grauen kommt von dem, was nicht erzählt wird. Wilk lebt auf den Solowetzki- Inseln inmitten der Täter und Opfer des Internierungslagers im und um das alte Kloster und schreibt nur auf, was er sieht. Unglaublich, wie es ihm gelingt, ohne jeden Kommentar das Geschilderte für sich sprechen zu lassen. Ein Höchstmaß an Objektivität- quasi protokollarische Prosa! Man versteht, weil man es eigentlich nicht verstehen kann, wie das lange Miteinander Täter und Opfer zuLove this book. Especially love the beautiful, deliberate language of it. It's written in a diary format, mingles history, place, personal reflection. A great slow read in Polish language.
