Weigh Up Of Books Freeze Tag
Caroline B Cooneys weirdness really works in this one. I didn't realize until the end that it was based on "The Snow Queen", one of my favourite fairy tales. Although (view spoiler)[if Lannie was sexually abusing West, she probably shouldn't be forgiven so easily. This book would have been much darker if it were gender swapped, when Lannie's behavior is inexcusable either way (hide spoiler)].

I want West to take ME to Pizza Hut!

This was a creepy book about a girl who can freeze and unfreeze people with the touch of a finger and uses that power to manipulate all the people who live close to her. (view spoiler)[ The way it ended still kinda messes me up because in the end she was able to cause changes in others, making them as cold hearted as she was, and they almost killed her to get rid of her scheming and plotting and basic ruination of their lives. So, I guess you have to ask...is it still being coldhearted when you

Growing up, this was the book that got me intro this kind of genre. I read it all the time and loved it. Now, reading it at 22 I still enjoyed that book a lot. Up until the last few pages. It left me wanting a better ending and more information about certain characters. Like, how this series of events affected them. I wanted a more cohesive ending, which I didn't receive. That being said, overall, I still really enjoyed the book. And I am happy to have this in my collection again!

Lainnie has the ability to freeze and unfreeze people, which she uses to her on advantage. Manipulating her close friends to do as she wishes. Her ability steams from the lack of love she received from her parents whilst growing up, which makes her cold hearted. Its a great premise, the book has some really chilling moments. One of the better written books in the Point Horror range!

When Meghan and West first played Freeze Tag with Lannie, it was no ordinary game. Because when Lannie tagged someone, they really froze. Icy blue and cold. Like death. And she wouldnt unfreeze them until West promised to always like her best, no matter what. Now its three years later and Meghan has forgotten all about Lannie and the promise she extracted that day. Meghan and West are in high school and theyre the perfect couple. But Lannie hasnt forgotten, and shes determined to have West for

I enjoyed most of this book although there were a few passages that bothered me towards the beginning and when West is stolen by Lannie. I also really started liking it when I recognized the influence of "The Snow Queen" through the pages and the more fairy tale aspect that started coming through. And the ending of the book. Possibly another re-read is in the future.
