Always on My Mind (Christiansen Family #4)
Heartbroken, especially when he discovers the identity of the baby’s father, Casper tables his dreams and determines to be dependable for once, helping his older brother, Darek, prepare the family resort for its grand reopening. Casper longs to be the hero of at least one family story, but a never-ending Deep Haven winter and costly repairs threaten their efforts—and the future of the resort.
Worse, one of Casper’s new jobs constantly brings him into contact with Raina, whom he can’t seem to forget. A tentative friendship begins to heal fresh wounds, but can they possibly overcome past mistakes and current choices to discover a future together?
Love! I think Casper's might be my favorite of the books yet! So sweet and I love the focus on forgiveness.
Review also found at http://kristineandterri.blogspot.ca/2...I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher Tyndale via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. The expected publication date is January 1st 2015. This was the fourth book in the Christiansen Family series however I was able to read it as a stand alone novel. While I was left to wonder if the history between Casper and Raina occurred in one of the earlier books or occurred "off the page" it did not impact my ability

I really do not know why I waited so long to read Susan May Warren's books. I have a lot of catching up to do! I was introduced to Susan's books last year, and I have enjoyed every single one I have read thus far.I jumped in to the Christiansen family series at the half way mark. Thankfully, the books work well as a standalone if need be, but work beautifully when together as a series, as you get the whole story of this wonderful family. Now mind you, this family I believe is wonderful, but not
This book was awesome, but it was also difficult. Raina and Casper's story was a rough one, but so worth it. I feel it's the mark of an excellent author when they can take their characters through some really difficult and draining things and you want to go with them, even though it's not always a fun ride, because you're invested and it's worth it. I enjoy reading these novels because I always learn something right along with the characters. The great thing about the Christiansen family series
This is definitely a character-driven novel, which I relish. There is also a compelling plot, but I enjoy how deeply we experience the characters' thoughts and feelings. It's so easy to emotionally connect to Casper and Raina, feel their frustrations and hopes. As much as I love the other books, Casper is my favorite of the Christiansen siblings. His personality is so appealing- compassionate, adventuresome, faithful, yet still a little lost as a middle child in a family of vibrant
Casper Christiansen went 2,000 miles to get Raina Beaumont off of his mind. But when he can't stop thinking about her, he returns home to a big surprise - the woman he loves is pregnant with another man's baby. And when he discovers the identity of the baby's father, Casper wishes he'd stayed in Honduras. With the family's resort facing financial difficulties, Casper decides it's time to grow up and help his older brother around the resort. Raina Beaumont never expected that Casper would show

Always on My Mind. I didn't have high expectations for this book, just because I had started it last year and it wasn't gripping enough for me to have to finish at that time, so I set it aside and didn't pick it back up until this past week. But, this time around, it had me hooked! I absolutely loved the story, had a hard time putting it down, and couldn't wait to see how it ended! The story was very emotional, just because of all that Casper and Raina went through in the previous books. TheLove! I think Casper's might be my favorite of the books yet! So sweet and I love the focus on forgiveness.
