I have had to give this read 5 stars. It was a breath of fresh air to me to read a well written book with dialogue as a person speaks. Not everyone speaks the perfect Queens English, and I'm a great believer in keeping things real even if it IS FICTION! It has to be believable, and this story was. I can't get past the fact that this is her first novel. I want to read more!!!I'm off the old school of readers, I'm middle aged and remember when authors used to jump right into dialogue on page one!

This was just OK. I actually picked this up to clear my head from reading about darker topics, but be aware that you will find plenty of drama here. Cheating, coke snorting, abuse, miscarriage... so, if those things are deal breakers for you, don't read it. At times, the story was hard to follow, and characters seemed a bit juvenile, but I will read the next installment, since this one ended in cliffhanger.
