Very much disliked it.Initially, I fell in love with the cover. Then I read the pitch, and it sounded interesting.Then I read the book. And while there's definitely an interesting story hidden somewhere, the whole thing was too much of a moraliser rather than actually telling a story that would push people to think about it (climate change, global warming, etc etc.) by themselves.Also, these teens felt highly unrealistic to me.AND OMG. The chapter when... what's his name again? Anna's friend...
Jostein Gaarder's take on global warming as seen through the eyes of sixteen year old Anna. The solution that the book suggests to the problem is simplistic, but that is not it's job. Its job is to illuminate the problem and it does that wonderfully. A good present to give your children, grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
