Another Home-Run for Amish Author Beth Shriver!
Solid story about a young girl with an strict and at times violent father, and no other family. While this is definitely a Christian novel the author didn't overdo it so it doesn't alienate the secular reader. I enjoyed the tone the author wrote with in the novel - not overly excited or emotional, but compelling enough to keep me reading and I felt it complemented the calmness of Mose, Abby's love interest, and the calm ways of Amish depicted in the novel, in general. I'm not sure how realistic
Healing Grace ( Touch of Grace book #3 )By: Beth ShriverOh my, what a book. This was my first book to read of Beth Shriver and I really loved it. This is the third book in Touch of Grace. I have not read the first two, but if they are anything like "Healing Grace" they will be awesome. I would say you can read "Healing Grace" as a stand alone. Beth Shriver has herself a winner with this one. She has done an excellent job with the characters and bringing two different worlds together. The Amish
