Actual review: 3.5 stars (rounding up because it was mainly marked down for consistent grammatical/typographical errors)This book was difficult for me to review, so I'll start with the things I liked about it.First of all, I really appreciate good character development, and Cantarero did an excellent job developing his characters. As the protagonist, Jason, is incapable of consistently experiencing emotions, this is really quite the feat. This story was also built on a fascinating premise: an
*I would like to thank the author Cantarero for sending me a free copy in exchange with an honest review, this being said, my review is not by any chance effected*i honestly would give this book a 4.5☆5.it's a sci-fi YA book, that happened to be unique as well. i absolutely loved the concept, the idea was masterfully plotted. and though i was scared that the story was being wrapped up and would get boring toward the end, i was dead wrong and i loves being wrong. i love surprises, and i enjoyed

I was sent a paperback edition of this book in exchange for an honest review.Sadly, I did not enjoy this book.Firstly, the book cover isn't very impressive at all. I liked the concept of it, but I don't think the designer had the right skill-set to make it look good. I would not buy this book on looks alone. Secondly, as I said, I did not enjoy the book. The premise of the book actually sounded like a really good and somewhat original story, but I didn't enjoy the way it was written. At all. The
Actual Rating: 2.5/5**I would like to start off by saying that I received Emotions by Arnulfo Cantarero for free via himself in exchange for a review. Although I am super grateful and excited for any opportunity at receiving a book for free, I am also very strict with being honest. That being said, giveaways do not impact my reviews.**This book.... this book has given me a lot to talk about and I believe it's one of the longest reviews I have ever written (see link at bottom):I need to start
***4/5 Stars! This is a great book. When I first began reading it, I felt like it was going to be very similar to other sci-fi books and things about "aliens with no emotions." However, once I got into it, I quickly realized that it was going to be different. This is a very cultured and well-rounded story that had ups and downs and some points that were quite surprising to me. Thank you, Arnulfo for letting me have a copy of your great book so I could experience it and let it take me on a
Review found on Books N' Calm I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This in no way effects my review. Thank to Arnulfo for giving me a copy of this book. It took me a bit to get into. I got into the book about 1/5th into the book. I almost DNF-ed but I'm glad I didn't. I enjoyed this book. It was good. I did get a bit confused at times but it wasn't enough to put me off the book or make such a difference in the plot of the book. There weren't chapter

Arnie was kind enough to send me a copy of Emotions for an honest review..➕PROS: Highly engaging concept of stranger in a strange land, who is an alien being seeking to understanding and developing emotions using a human shell ...from birth.Compelling and at times narrow first person narrative really gets you into the headspace of the lead character. Some really clever and innovative pseudo science is used to explain what the aliens are and what they can do..➖CONS: I would have preferred the bookActual review: 3.5 stars (rounding up because it was mainly marked down for consistent grammatical/typographical errors)This book was difficult for me to review, so I'll start with the things I liked about it.First of all, I really appreciate good character development, and Cantarero did an excellent job developing his characters.
