Jason Ariaz is not your average 22 year old. He has been genetically and cybernatically enhanced but that’s only the beginning. Arnie was kind enough to send me a copy of Emotions for an honest review..➕PROS: Highly engaging concept of stranger in a strange land, who is an alien being seeking to understanding and developing emotions using a human shell ...from birth.Compelling and at times narrow first person narrative really gets you into the headspace of the lead character.Some really clever and innovative pseudo science is used to explain what the aliens are and what they can do..➖CONS: I would have preferred the book

Actual review: 3.5 stars (rounding up because it was mainly marked down for consistent grammatical/typographical errors)This book was difficult for me to review, so I'll start with the things I liked about it.First of all, I really appreciate good character development, and Cantarero did an excellent job developing his characters. It took me a bit to get into. I got into the book about 1/5th into the book. I almost DNF-ed but I'm glad I didn't. I enjoyed this book. It was good.
